Martin the Sound Man

Without Martin the Sound Man, Answer Me This! would just be Olly and Helen shouting in the living room. So praise the day he was born! Here he is rocking out:

Martin rocks

Martin rocks

Martin enjoys a typical Sound Man snack

Martin enjoys a typical Sound Man snack

Martin makes sounds of his own in his band The Sound of the Ladies (hey, why not become The Sound of the Ladies’ Imaginary Friend on MySpace?)

and as a guitarist in the Monroe Transfer (hey, why not become the Monroe Transfer’s Imaginary Friend on MySpace?)

and in the house band at Robin Ince’s School for Gifted Children and the Sunday Night Adventure Club (hey, why not become The Sunday Night Adventure Club’s Imaginary Friend on MySpace?).

Martin’s pretty pretty music is also available on his own monthly podcast, which you can download through his website or subscribe to via iTunes.

So get in touch if you want Dr Martin Austwick to come and perform at your wedding or bar mitzvah. He knows all the words to The Vengabus and La Bamba (in English and Spanish) as well as being able to fix the microphones when they break or make that nasty screaming sound.

Cop a load of this Martin endorsement in the Sunday Times!

From what i’ve heard on the podcast, Martin’s head shouldn’t be visible, it’s so covered in hair!
