Helen and Olly,
I was listening to episode 81 of the podcast wandering around the local Japanese supermarket having JUST BOUGHT a new set of long johns and thermal socks. So imagine my surprise when you played the drunk message I left just before Christmas – and that your advice matched perfectly with my own solution.
At the time I was also weighing up whether or not it was a good idea to open some more red wine tonight, so I will take this as an omen. Cheers!

Helen, I am completely with you on dusty, westerny-type things and sandpaper. I don’t know what it is but the whole thing bothers me. I thought it was just me!

Helen and Olly,
I was interested to hear Helen answering a question about the phrase “Under the weather”, because I thought that she had answered it in an earlier episode (no luck searching the question archive though). The answer I had heard previously (from another podcast perhaps?) suggested that this was to do with going below decks on a ship when there was bad weather (thus being “under” the weather).
Surely there is noone else out there in the Podoverse that I could confuse with you?
